Charlotte D'Amboise will be Roxie Hart until Jan. 15, 2023. It's hard to say how long is the run for AFW. Curiously enough, Telecharge doesn't have a specific date for the conclusion of her current run.

I know. Initially, I had thought of seeing "Chicago" also on Nov. 20th. However, I had wanted to see "Phantom" (a show I had planned on seeing in June 2020). So, I got a ticket to Phantom....which I did before the announcement of Phantom's closing. I did see a non-Equity tour of "Chicago" on Nov. 4th here in Austin. It was a nice experience. I did get a chance to meet some of the cast members at the stage door/loading dock. Before I forget, I do hope I see some of you during my trip...... (more...)

I'm wondering if Angelica Ross will extend, now that Ryoko Yonekura's injury will prevent her from playing Roxie (Nov. 7-20). Perhaps the producers can call upon dependable veterans such as Charlotte D'Amboise or Dylis Croman. Or, the current understudies (Jessica Ernest & Rachel Schur ).can take turns as Roxie. I'm curious to know who'll be Roxie & Velma when I see the show on Nov. 21st.

2016: I saw "Chicago". After the show ended, I had a backstage visit with Jason Patrick Sands. It was a fantastic experience !

In 2018, I saw "Cats" for the first time. Throughout the performance, some sow woman was filming the show with her iPad. She was almost right across from me. As soon as intermission began, I got ahold of an usher and gave her the exact location of the idiot who was filming. #2 Around the same year, I saw Kinky Boots at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. After the show ended, the mezzanine crowd merged with the orchestra crowd emptying out. The merchandise kiosk was also located by the stairs.... (more...)

Hello all. I've booked my 2nd show: Moulin Rouge on Tues. Nov. 22nd. I was surprised by the reasonable price. Now, for my final selection, my choices are rather limited for a Sunday evening show. I have never seen Phantom. I had booked it for June 2020 but...... My other choice is "Six". It sounds like a thrilling show. So, I'm conflicted between Phantom and Six.

I am looking forward to visit the Ambassador Theatre once more, on Nov. 21st. I've made mention of the show's lack of Velmas. As was done with the Search For Roxie, perhaps now it's a good time for a "Search For Velma"? Since "Chicago" is no longer utilizing celebrity Velmas as in years past, it would be in the show's long term interest to develop and increase the number of available Velma Kellys.
